Selling Your Big Bear Home - 1st Quater Stats

Our real estate market has been brisk since last November of 2009, and now it is begining to slow and stabilize for the most part. We had better sales in 2010; you should find the following information useful;
From January 1st to March 31st , 2010 (1st Quarter Sales)
Average Active Listings: 647 Average Active Listings
1st Qtr SOLDS: 204 SOLDS (In 2009, there were 173 SOLD) 19-1/2% Increase in Sales
1st Qtr Ave. Pendings: 136 Pendings
Sold Foreclosures: 97 Foreclosures (This number is form the 204 SOLDS) (47% of all 1st Qtr Sales)
As we begin our 2nd Quarter, we are anticipating a slight slowdown for the next 30 to 45 days, then, two weeks prior to Memorial Day, we will begin to get busy again. Traditionaly, Memorial Day weekend kicks off sales for summer time, and with the interest rates remaining low, I am anticipating a good summer of sales.
We are gearing up for our spring and summer advertising campaign, which will involve our internet site, along with two magazines; Welcome Homes Magazine and Home Gallery Magazine. These two magazines cover any potential buyers that are visiting Big Bear Lake and are strolling through the village area who happen to pick-up one of our magazines and have not procured a Realtor via internet. In addition, my website is ranked high with Google, Yahoo and MSN, thereby establishing us as Big Bear’s number one real estate site. This means top exposure for your listing!
As this real estate market continues to be challenging and as we try and anticipate what the market is going to do, we can only prepare ourselves with the best possible systems, which we have in place now. All of our systems include MSN e-mail, Blackberry (smart phones) and lead capture systems on the internet, along with the latest technology implementation with-in our website at www.BigBearHomesandLand.com.
Please review our site and find a new “Map Search” icon that is featured on our home page, this map search is the only map featured as a search on any Big Bear Lake website. Again, we strive to have the latest technology on our site.
